Stern Grove by Louisa (Oakes Children's Center)

Eucalyptus scented soggy path
Dog in the Lead
     He greets the others with a sniff & wag
     Canine parties indeed
The air cools my face & my thoughts
     As the trees shed their skin leaving
     all the green & brown on the ground
Subtle traffic sounds under the
     calls of blue jays & red tailed hawks.
City scape surrounds the urban
     forest I use as my escape
